The couple had known for a while that they were expecting their 3rd child, but only announced it when Kate had to cancel several engagements due to her illness.
Kate was able to attend royal engagements in the later stages of her pregnancy, as the symptoms of her morning sickness abated to some degree. The couple’s third baby weighed in at 8lbs 7 oz. The child’s older brother George,4, was at his school ‘Thomas Battersesa’, Princess Charlotte was at home in Kensington Palace. George started his official school years back in September of 2017. Kate was too ill to attend her son’s first day of school, Prince William escorted George during his first day of school. The palace will announce the name of third royal baby in the days to come.
