Actor Brad Bufanda Of ‘Veronica Mars’ Commits Suicide At 34

Sad news out of Hollywood today, actor Brad Bufanda was found dead on a Los Angeles street. A pedestrian found Bufanda’s lifeless body on a public street. The LAPD confirmed late Friday that Bufanda jumped out of a building about 40 minutes after midnight on Friday. The autopsy is complete and the coroner has ruled, that Bufanda died of traumatic injuries he suffered when he fell to the pavement after he jumped. A suicide note was found close to the actor’s body. In the note he expressed his love for his parents and his close friends.

Bufanda lived in the historic Park La Brea apartment complex, which has over four thousand units in 18 thirteen story buildings, it was one of those buildings that Bufanda jumped from. The 6’2 actor started his career as a model in 1996. He worked steadily in various TV shows, including two seasons of  ‘Veronica Mars’. The show starred Kristen Bell with Bufanda playing the character of ‘Felix Toombs. He also had a recurring role on the soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives’ playing ‘Joe’. Friends say that Bufanda had been depressed for years because he felt that his acting career was waning.

However his agent said today, that Bufanda was happy and working on revitalizing his acting career. He had a recently released film ‘Garlic and Gunpowder, playing the role of ‘Robert’. He also completed the film ‘Stan The Man’ which is set to be released in 2018. Rob Thomas the director and creator of ‘Veronica Mars’ said today,” I’m heartbroken to hear of Brad Bufanda’s passing. He did great work on Veronica Mars. My heart goes out to his family.” Many fans reacted to Bufanda’s death, with well wishes to his family and good memories of the actor..
