Actor Danny Masterson Fired From Netflix’s ‘The Ranch’ Over Rape Allegations

Danny Masterson best known for his role in ‘That 70’s Show’ has been fired from his role on ‘The Ranch’ on Netflix. Masterson,41, is speaking out about his firing, he said, “I have never been charged with a crime.” The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating several sexual assault allegations against Masterson. Some of these allegations are from over ten years ago, a police representative said today. The actor is a member of the ‘Church Of Scientology’. He has been married to actress Bijou Phillips since 2011, the couple have a young daughter.

Masterson has been on the show ‘The Ranch’ since it premiered on ‘Netflix’ three seasons ago. He was reunited with his former costar from ‘That 70’s Show’ Ashton Kutcher who also stars on the show. The actor continued,”I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one. In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However in the current climate, it seems you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused. I understand and look forward to clearing my name once and for all. In the meantime, I want to thank the cast and crew that I have worked so closely with over the last three seasons. I wish them nothing but success. I am also so thankful for the fans that have supported me and continue to do so.” Masterson’s character ‘Jameson Rooster Bennett’ will be written out of the show, the actor was fired on Monday from Netflix. The show will resume filming in early 2018 without Masterson.
