Actress Eva Longoria Becomes First Time Mom At 43 After Giving Birth To First Child

It’s a boy for former ‘Desperate Housewife’ Eva Longoria and her third husband Jose Baston. The couple wed in 2016 in Mexico named their son, Santiago Enrique Baston. The baby was born at ‘hospital to the stars’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The baby was born healthy at 6 pounds, 13 oz early Wednesday morning. Baston has three other children from his marriage. Baston is a television executive in Mexico, he was formally with ‘Televista.’ Longoria was on ‘Desperate Housewives’ for the shows entire run from 2004 to 2012.

She played ‘Gabrielle Solis’, and has said the show gave her the break that evaded her for over ten years. Eva announced the baby’s arrival via social media, she said “Santiago Enrique Baston has arrived. We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing.” During her pregnancy, Longoria said, “We have three children already, I have three step children, so it’s not like it’s anything new.” She added “we have a very strong relationship and we are both over the moon.” The actress has wanted to be a mother for a very long time. She confided to friends a solid partner has not been in the picture yet.

Longoria was married to ‘General Hospital’ actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004. She married basketball player Tony Parker in a lavish wedding in Paris on July 7,2007, hundreds of celebrities attended including Jennifer Lopez. Eva discovered that her husband had been having an ongoing affair with the wife of his former teammate Brent Barry. Eva filed for divorce in California and Parker filed for divorce in Texas, which started a publicly played out divorce battle. The issues were Eva requesting alimony, which ultimately she received, the amount has never been publicly disclosed.
