Actress Kim Cattrall’s Younger Brother Chris Cattrall Found Dead After Being Reported Missing

‘Sex and the City’ alum Kim Cattrall, was pleading with the public for help in finding her younger brother. The actress revealed on Sunday that her younger brother has been missing from his home, since January 30th. Cattrall said on social media that her brother age 55, left his beloved 7 dogs, cell phone, wallet, car keys behind in his home Lacombe, Alberta Canada. The front door of the home was unlocked. Cattrall who is a native of Canada, described her brother as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, blue eyes, and short brown hair and a goatee.

She indicated that if anyone sees her brother to call the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or Crime Stoppers. She said Chris ‘is one of a kind’, and that this leaving and not telling anyone, is not like him, and out of character for her brother. Not long after she made the disappearance of her younger brother made public, Canadian officials reported that Cattrall was found dead. She promptly removed the missing fliers and let her followers know that her brother was found dead.

She posted, “It is with great sadness, that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. At this time we ask for privacy. We want to thank all of you on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time.” Kim Cattrall grew up in Toronto, Canada and still maintains a second home in Comox Valley, British Columbia. Cattrall holds dual citizenship in Canada and England. In 2008 it was reported that Cattrall had become an American citizen. The actress was quick to correct the report, saying” I love New York and America. But I will never give up who I am, I’m not an American.” A source with the RMCP said that Cattrall’s death was a suicide.
