Actress Taylor Hickson Suing Production Company After Sustaining Permanent Scars While Filming

Taylor Hickson best known for ‘Deadpool’ has filed a lawsuit against her latest production company. The Canadian actress was filming horror movie ‘Ghostland’ when a scene she was filming went terribly wrong. She was working on set for director Pascal Laugier, when she was instructed to pound very hard on a glass pane. According the suit, Laugier kept instructing Hickson to pound harder on the table. The actress asked the director if the scene was safe, she herself had concerns at the time. Laugier and a producer on set told Hickson it was perfectly safe to pound on the glass.

The glass Hickson was pounding on gave way, and the 20 year old actress fell through the glass head first landing in a shard of glass. In the suit it claims Hickson was covered in blood and in intense pain. The suit alleges, “As a result of the incident, she badly cut the left side of her face, that required more than 70 stitches to close.” The actress has had numerous surgeries, including laser surgery, silicone treatment, but one year after the incident, she has permanent scars on the left side of her face. It is unknown whether the actress will have to undergo on more procedures.

The suit states she was “a busy up and coming actor’, she now struggles to find work as an actor, and what her financial future will look like is uncertain now due to the permanent scars she now has on her face. Hickson is also trying to recover money she says she lost during the past year, that she has had to undergo surgeries and recuperate. Hickson says it’s not only the physical damage she suffered from the incident, she has gone through emotional turmoil also. Incident Production, is the named defendant in the suit, they have yet to respond to the suit.
