Beth Chapman’s Throat Cancer Has Spread Says Source

Beth Chapman, the wife of Duane Dog Chapman has left hospital to the stars Ceder Sinai Medical Center over the weekend. Chapman left the hospital against the advice of her medical team. Beth and Dog took a private plane from California to Colorado. The couple are from Denver, and have a huge support system there. A friend of the couple met their plane in Denver and drove them 30 miles south to Castle Rock, CO, where the couple have a home, which was regularly featured on their ‘A & E’ show, ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter.’

The couple’s primary residence is in Hawaii, they left last week to seek medical treatment for Beth. She was not feeling well and was having difficulty breathing, doctors removed a huge mass from her throat. Tests determined the mass was cancer. Beth was diagnosed with throat cancer last year, went through treatment and was declared ‘cancer free’. Beth’s husband said, ‘that half of Beth’s lung was full of water, she’s a lot more comfortable now that she can breath. She wanted out of the hospital so she could be at her beloved Colorado home. Dog said, “She loves it here.”

A source who wished to remain anonymous said that “Beth’s cancer has spread through her body, and treatment now would be useless.” Duane and his daughter Lyssa Chapman asked their legions of devoted fans to pray for Beth. Duane said, “it’s not looking very good.” Statistics show that over 80% of throat cancer patients got the cancer due to smoking. Beth was never a smoker, but Dog is a long time heavy smoker. Speculation is swirling around that Beth got the cancer via second hand smoke, from Dog. Chapman said that test results are due on Monday, and Beth wanted to wait for the results at home, instead of the hospital. Doctors told Beth she was not medically well enough to travel, the family decided to leave anyway.
