Blake Lively Injured On The Set Of Her Next Film ‘The Rhythm Section’ Production Halted

Actress Blake Lively,30, suffered a severe hand injury while performing a stunt for her next film,’The Rhythm Section.’ The production of the film had to be suspended for the time being. The movie’s producers with Paramount Films, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli issued a statement. In the statement the two producers confirmed the injury Lively suffered. They said while she was performing a stunt, she sustained an injury to her wrist. Wilson said they had no choice but to suspend production, because Lively is in almost every scene of the movie.

Lively stars along side actor Jude Law in the film playing the part of, Stephanie Patrick. Her character tries to find out what really happened to her family who were supposedly killed in a plane crash. The movie is being billed as a ‘spy thriller’, Lively’s character eventually turns into an assassin. The actress had been spotted on the set recently before the accident wearing different outfits, that made her look virtually unrecognizable. In one scene she was seen filming she was wearing a reddish blond colored bowl type of haircut.

She also was seen in several scenes wearing oversize sweat suit outfits. The former star of the hit show’ Gossip Girl’ has been married to actor Ryan Reynolds since 2012. The couple have two daughters, Ines, 13 months and 2 year old James. The movie was scheduled to be released in February of 2019. According to the producers the film could be released at a later date due to the accident and production being halted. Lively has recently said that balancing motherhood and working has been her biggest challenge of late. Lively says she and Reynolds try not to make movies at the same time, so one can be home with the children.
