Bristol Palin Joins The Cast Of ‘MTV’s Teen Mom OG’ Causes Major Drama Behind The Scenes

MTV announced that Bristol Palin the daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is joining the cast. Cast members of ‘Teen Mom OG’ and ‘Teen Mom 2’ are said to be quite upset about the casting decisions. The show has been on MTV in one form or another since 2009, with three of the original cast members still on the show. Controversial figure Farrah Abraham was fired this year for her refusal to quit being a part of the porn industry. Palin’s salary was also announced as 250 K and additional bonus money, could have her earning over 400 K for the season.

David Eason, the husband of ‘Teen Mom 2’ cast member Jenelle Evans, had plenty to say about Palin being cast on the show. Eason was fired from the show in February for saying homophobic statements, called out MTV for hiring Palin. He said, “I know MTV is comprised of hypocrites but how do you fire me and hire Bristol Palin after all of her homophobic and racist remarks.?” He claims he doesn’t know Palin, and has nothing against her personally but ‘MTV just showed their true colors.’
