Witnesses on the scene said the car driven by Burns dragged Josh’s stroller for almost a mile before it stopped after hitting a bunch of parked cars. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a statement, “For Chirlane and I obviously this is very personal. It occurred in our neighborhood, very close to our home.
This loss of life is tragic and painful for all of us, particularly those of us who are parents.” Lew’s father who lives in Hawaii, rushed to New York to be by her side. He told reporters ‘he is very worried about his daughter’s physical and mental health.’
