Brody Jenner Marries Kaitlynn Carter While Famous Dad & Sisters Are No Shows

The former star of MTV’s ‘The Hills’ Brody Jenner married his long time girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter on Saturday. Several of his famous family members skipped the lavish wedding despite being invited months ago. Brody’s mother Linda Thompson confirmed that Kylie and Kendall Jenner as well as Caitlyn Jenner all received invites in February. Thompson is the second wife of then Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner. Thompson and her oldest son Brandon looked on as Brody married Kaitlynn after four fun filled days of pre-wedding activities.

The picturesque wedding took place on the exotic island of Nihi Sumba off the coast of Indonesia. The fifty guests danced at a ‘White Party’ the night before wedding into the wee hours of the morning. Jenner said he was so excited to be spending the weekend with his closest friends and family during his ‘life changing happy event.’ Jenner,34, and his new bride Kaitlynn,29, met at a party in 2013. Jenner said the chemistry was immediate. He said “she’s an amazing girl, and I just went for it.” This is the first marriage for both the bride and groom.

The couple became engaged in 2016 on the same island where the wedding took place. Carter said she’s glad they had a long engagement so they could iron out all their issues before they wed. None of Jenner’s ‘The Hills’ cast-members were present at the wedding, and many of his famous family members skipped the wedding. Jenner’s father Caitlyn Jenner was spotted at a charity ball in Austria the same moment the wedding was taking place. Jenner told a reporter that he wouldn’t be attending her son’s wedding because “there was something more pressing I have to deal with.” The event, ‘The Life Ball 2018’ raises money for ‘Amfar’s research, the group is doing research to find a cure for AIDS and HIV.
