Cardi B Announces Split From Husband Offset After 1 Year Of Marriage

Cardi B and her husband Offset are throwing in the towel after only 1 year of marriage. Cardi B said “I guess we just grew out of love.” The rapper took to her social media to let fans know that status of her relationship with Offset. She said, “So everybody been bugging me and everything you know and I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now.” The rapper a former stripper whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar married Offset in a secret ceremony in September of 2017, she called her husband, “a blessing.”

On July 10th 2018 Cardi B had the couple’s child a girl, Kulture Kiari Cephus. Cardi B went on to explain, “We are really good friends and we are good business partners, you know he’s always someone that I run to and talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other. But things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.” Cardi B grew up in the Bronx and raised as a Catholic, she has said her ‘faith is very important to me, it’s everything.”

Cardi B said of her estranged husband, “It’s nobody’s fault I guess we just grew out of love, but we are not together anymore. I don’t know it may take time to get a divorce, and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.” The estranged couple are both 26, and friends have speculated, that the relationship progressed too quickly for it to work long term. Offset whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus replied with a simple “Y’all won.” Fans were quick to express their shock of the sudden split announcement. Some fans think this is a stunt, only a few weeks ago the couple were seen hugging and kissing at a Lakers game.
