Cardi B Says She Will Stand By Offset Even If He Goes To Jail

Newlywed rappers Cardi B and Offset are in for the long haul according to a new report. Offset was arrested on July 20th for gun charges, after police pulled him over. According to a new report by TMZ friend’s of Cardi’s are saying that she will never leave her husband, even if he goes to prison over his latest charges. Offset’s lawyer is claiming that the rapper was just ‘driving while black’ and the charges are nothing more than ridiculous. The lawyer claims Offset ‘was targeted because he’s a rich black rapper.’

This is not the first time Cardi B is standing by her man, there have been many scandals for the couple. He admitted to an affair with Celina Powell, who claimed the Offset was the father of her unborn child. A DNA test would later reveal that Offset was not the father, Cardi B publicly supported him when the allegations were first made. A fan recently told Cardi B, that she should get rid of Offset, the fan said ‘You can do so much better.’ Cardi B responded with the following.

“Don’t tell about who I deserve with him or not, you don’t know how he matured me. Before I met him, I ain’t got a lawyer, business manager, and I was insecure about my music. He helped give me confidence and helped me get my business situated.” Offset has a long criminal record that started when he was a teenager, he has many arrests and prison stays. Due to his record, the possibility of him facing time, is great. This latest charge happened in Atlanta when Offset was pulled over for an improper lane change. When the car was searched police found three handguns and illegal drugs in the car. The couple welcomed their first child together earlier this month, a girl named Kulture.
