Cardi B Turns Herself In To Police Facing Assault Charges After Fight At Strip Bar

Cardi B turned herself in at a police station in New York on Monday. The former stripper, was at the ‘Angels Strip Club’ in Queens NY, in late August. The rapper was there to watch ‘Migos’ perform. According to the criminal complaint, Cardi orchestrated an assault on two female bartenders at the club. The bartenders are sisters who are known as, Jade and Baddie Gi. The documents allege that Cardi came into contact with the two woman at the club, shortly afterwards ordered her entourage to attack the women.

The Cardi entourage threw chairs, bottles and a hookah pipe at the women. Both women were hurt during the attack, they each had visible blood on their faces and hands. They refused medical treatment at the club. According to the complaint they both sought medical treatment later that night. The fight was instigated by Cardi due to a long standing feud with Jade, who Cardi believes slept with her husband ‘Offset’. Cardi is facing two misdemeanor charges, for assault and reckless endangerment. She is not expected to be arrested, but rather will receive a summons to appear in court.

Cardi is claiming that the fight was not premeditated, but started after someone threw a drink at someone in Cardi’s entourage. Cardi also had an altercation with singer Nicki Minaj at New York Fashion Week. In that incident the two women were captured on video punching each other and pulling hair. Although a group of men tried to break up the fight, Cardi was seen trying to get past them, to continue the fight with Minaj. She could be heard saying ‘come here bitc*’ several times. Cardi had a huge welt on her face, when she was seen throwing one of her shoes at Minaj. That fight has not resulted in any charges.
