Country Singer Jason Aldean Talks For The First Time About Las Vegas Mass Shooting Tragedy

Country singer Jason Aldean is talking about the October 1st, Las Vegas shooting tragedy during his performance. The 40 year old expectant first time father is speaking about the incident that changed his life for ever. He said that while on stage everyone wears an ear piece, so sounds off the stage are not clear. Aldean recalled that he thought the noise everyone heard ‘was the result of a speaker blowing out.’ The country superstar was performing with his band at the ‘Route 91 Harvest Festival’ in Las Vegas.

Aldean granted an on camera interview with ‘Today’ on NBC, this is the first such interview Aldean has done about the incident. He said the noise he heard sounded like ‘crackling’, Aldean said he looked around to figure out what the noise was, and he didn’t hear it anymore, so he thought the issue was fixed. He kept on singing after he heard the first sounds, thinking everything was resolved. Not long after the first sound, there was a second sound that lasted longer. Aldean said he started to ‘get aggravated’, he looked around at a sound engineer and told him to fix the noise.
