Emma Slater and Sasha Farber married at ‘Bella Blanca’ in Los Angeles on Sunday. The wedding venue in the San Fernando Valley just a stone’s throw from Hollywood, is noted for it’s large ornate crystal chandeliers. The couple’s wedding planner Michael Russo told ‘US Magazine,”Their moving vows had moments of human and heart felt emotion. It made the ceremony a truly special and magical thing to behold. I couldn’t be more proud to have been a witness to this celebration of pure unconditional love.”
Slater,29, wore two specially made gowns by designer Rivini. The groom,33, wore a handmade tuxedo by ‘Onik Design’.This is the same designer which creates many of the costumes the dancers were on ‘DWTS’. The newly married couple posed for pictures at the famed ‘Houdini Estate’. The dancers selected that location, because they walk by it everyday when they are walking their dogs. Some past and present dancers from the show were on hand to witness the nuptials. Julianne Hough husband Brooks Laich, Drew Lachey wife Vanessa and Drew Scott and Cheryl Burke.
The couple became engaged during a taping of their show in 2016. The couple met on the show, ‘Burn the Floor’, but only became engaged two years later when they appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ Farber said that Slater picked the engagement ring herself, because ‘she has “a better sense of style.” Slater from England originally started performing at 10, and at 15 appeared in a George Micheal video.
Farber was born in Russia but was raised in Australia. Farber is Jewish, Slater is Christina, the wedding ceremony incorporated both religions. The newly married couple shared a first dance to Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Perfect’. The wedding party received luxurious gifts from the couple. Gigi New York supplied the cluth purses for the bridesmaid’s.
