Famed Director Quentin Tarantino In Hot Water After Saying Polanski Rape Victim ‘Wanted It’

Decorated director Roman Polanski has been dodging US authorities for over four decades. He was about to be sent to prison for raping a 13 year old girl at the home of actor Jack Nicholson in March of 1977. Polanski spent 45 days being evaluated by a psychiatrist at Chino State Prison, in Chino. A judge ordered that he be sent to state prison for an undisclosed sentence. Rather than face more prison time, Polanski fled to England and then to France where he held citizenship. He has not returned to the US since he fled.

An old interview that Quentin Tarantino gave to Howard Stern in 2003 has resurfaced. In the interview Tarantino said of the 13 year old girl Polanski raped, “She wanted to have it and dated the guy, she was down with this.” The girl who has since made her identity known is Samantha Geimer, and testified against Polanski when she was a teenager. Geimer claimed that the ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ directer, plied her with alcohol and Quaaludes, and forcibly raped her, despite her pleas for help. In the Stern interview the ‘Kill Bill’ director, said “you can’t just throw the word rape around.”

Tarantino said, “he had sex with a minor, rape is the most violent thing there is. It’s pushing and shoving and violence. That is not what happened in this case.” He went on to say that if Geimer were his daughter, he ‘would have beat the hell out of Polanski. Stars reacted swiftly to Tarantino’s resurfaced interview. Busy Phillips said “F**k this guy, QUENTIN IS CANCELLED” Patricia Arquette who has been very visible and outspoken in the ‘Me Too’ movement, said “For F**ks Sake, NO”. Tarantino has refused to comment on the Stern interview.
