Felicity Huffman & Lori Loughlin Arrested For A College Cheating Scam

Actress Felicity Huffman was arrested today in Los Angeles, she was charged with paying $15,000 so that her daughter could get into a good college. The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress was arrested at 6 am Tuesday, when 6 FBI agent agents with guns drawn were at her front door. She was ordered to come outside with hands up. She was taken into custody, sleeping inside the Hollywood Hills home, Huffman’s husband actor William H. Macy and their two daughters. Sources are saying that Huffman knew she was being investigated in the nation wide drag net.

William Singer a ‘college coordinater’ the alleged mastermind of the scam, was arrested and plead guilty, and agreed to testify against more than 60 people involved in the scam. ‘Full House’ actress Lori Loughlin, paid $500,000 twice so that her two daughters could get into USC by claiming they were members of the crew. Neither girl ever had spent any time on any rowing team. Loughlin is in route to Los Angeles to turn herself in. Her designer husband Mossimo Giannulli was arrested on Tuesday. Their daughter Oliva Jade Giannulli is a freshman at USC, Loughlin deleted all of her social media accounts as the backlash commenced immediately.

The actual charges Huffman is facing is conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. The allegation is that Huffman paid the 15 K so her oldest daughter would be given twice the amount of time to take the ACT test, and the proctor who was paid by Singer, agreed to correct her test. Huffman was released late Tuesday on a $250,000 bond. William Singer the mastermind lives in Newport Beach, CA was arrested in Boston on Tuesday. Authorities say Singer made arrangements for ‘his clients’ to take their SAT or ACT exams at sites where he paid off the proctor. He also bribed college coaches to falsify records of students by saying they played on teams, that they never did.
