Former LA Laker Lamar Odom Collapses At A Hollywood Nightclub

Lamar Odom collapsed at a Sunset Strip nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning. He was at the ‘Bootsy Bellows’ night club in a VIP room. He suddenly with no warning hit the floor head first. Club security guards were summoned to the scene and were heard yelling “get out of the way, clear the path.” An onlooker who was sitting near Odom in the club reported that he saw Khloe Kardashian’s ex husband drinking heavily for hours before the incident. Odom,37, was wearing a black hoodie. He was being helped up by club employees, but seemed dazed and very disoriented.

He was transported to a Los Angeles hospital shortly after he fell. His publicist Eve Sarkisyan told ‘US Weekly’ that Odom ‘was doing great’ and had an intense workout earlier in the day. The publicist wrote the entire incident off as severe dehydration. It was almost two years ago in October of 2015, that Odom had a near fatal incident when he became unconscious while visiting a Nevada Brothel. He was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital, and Khloe Kardashian rushed to his side. She was not yet legally divorced from Odom. She put the divorce on  hold, so that she could make medical decisions for her husband.

It took Odom well over a year to recover from the Nevada incident, and he recently said that he has not recovered completely from it. Odom said he considered himself a miracle, for surviving the Nevada incident. He suffered more than 12 strokes while he was being treated in the hospital and he had to learn how to walk and talk again. He checked into rehab in December of 2016 to focus on himself and his recovery. The same month he and Kardashian were legally divorced, she is now expecting a child with professional basketball player Tristen Thompson.
