George Clooney Released From Hospital After Scooter Accident In Italy

Actor George Clooney was involved in an accident late Monday while riding a scooter in Sardina, Italy. He was hit after an oncoming car did not yield the right of way to the father of twins. The accident happened in daylight on the state owned road of Costa Corallina, in the province of Olbia, La Nuova. The car struck Clooney knocking him onto the pavement. The driver immediately rushed to Clooney’s side and offered help and called an ambulance. Clooney told EMT personnel that his pelvis area was hurting, and he thought that his leg could have damages.

He was taken to John Paul Hospital where he underwent an MRI. His overall condition was not serious and he was released from the hospital a few hours after being admitted. The news of Clooney being at the hospital spread fast in the small community. Fans started to assemble only minutes after the actor’s ambulance arrived. The actor’s wife, Amal Clooney was seen arriving at the hospital shortly after the actor was admitted. When Clooney was medically cleared, the couple left the hospital through a back exit to a waiting private car.

Clooney is currently in Sardina shooting his series for Hulu ‘Catch-22. The actor is with his wife and his one year old twins, Alexander and Ella. The family have been photographed all over the area enjoying the summer sun. Clooney’s parents were also seen vacationing with their son, daughter in law and grandchildren. The couple have been taking great pains to keep their children away from the preying eyes of the media. Clooney has had many run-ins with paparazzi and has publicly criticized them for decades. Locals who have been able to catch a glimpse of the toddlers say they are a combination of both Amal and George, with very dark curly brown hair.
