Gisele Bundchen Says Quarterback Husband Tom Brady Suffered A Concussion In 2016

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, the wife of New England Patriot Quarterback Tom Brady told Charlie Rose that Brady suffered a concussion during the last season. Bundchen appeared on ‘CBS This Morning’ this morning when she made the startling claims. Rose asked Bundchen about retiring rumors, saying that Brady has said his wife wants him to retire. However Brady told Rose he wants to continue to play as long as he feels good, Brady turns 40 August 3rd. Bundchen responded, “You know I just have to say, as a wife you know as a sport, it’s an aggressive sport. He had a concussion last year.”

Bundchen went on to say that Brady has suffered several concussions that they haven’t revealed to the public. She said” I don’t think it’s a healthy thing for the body to go through all the time. Like that kind of aggression can not be healthy for you. I would like for him to be healthy and do a lot of fun things when we are 100 I hope.” Brady did not miss any games due to any injuries last seasons. The NFL was quick to react to Bundchen’s statements by issuing their own statement regarding Brady.

It said in part” We have reviewed all reports relating to Tom Brady from the unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants and certified athletic trainers spotters who worked at Patriots home and away 2016 season games as well as club injury reports that were sent to the league office. That are no records that Mr. Brady suffered a head injury or concussion or exhibited or complained of concussion symptoms.” The NFL statement went on to say that Brady has had no concussions in the last 4 seasons. Bundchen also said during the interview that Brady is now on a “plant based diet” and he feels a lot better.
