‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Joe Giudice is scheduled to be transferred to ‘Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Giudice is wrapping up his two year prison sentence at Fort Dix Federal Penitentiary on March 14th. Instead of being able to go home to his wife and four daughters he will remain in federal custody. While serving his prison term for bank wire fraud and other crimes, an immigration judge ordered Giudice be deported once his sentence is over. Giudice came to the US as a young child with his parents from his native Italy.
Radar Online is reporting that Giudice will be in ‘ICE’ custody until he is deported to Italy, which is expected to occur in March. Giudice filed an appeal to the deportation order, a decision has not been handed down yet. Legal experts predict that Giudice will be deported because he is now a convicted felon. James Leonard an attorney for Teresa and Joe, said that he is hopeful after the appeal decision comes down, Joe will be able to be home with his wife and daughters. Leonard said, ‘Joe’s family loves and supports him, and wants him home.’
Teresa dropped a bit of news on the ‘Housewives Reunion special’. Teresa said if Joe does get deported she and her husband of nearly 20 years, will ‘go their separate ways. She explained her position by saying, she’s not into long distance relationships, they don’t work. The cook book author said, that ‘I know how these things work, I need someone with me everyday, long distance generally doesn’t work. The couple’s daughters, Gia,18, Gabriella,14, Milania,13, and Audriana,9, do not want to go to Europe their mother said. Gia is going to college in the fall, the others have their lives and their friends, and they don’t want to be uprooted. None of the girls speak Italian, and Teresa said she is not going to force any of them to move if they don’t want to.
