Justin Timberlake has just announced that all of his December concert dates for his ‘Man of the Woods’ concert have been canceled. The singer is claiming he has ‘bruised vocal cords’. Others are not too sure that’s the real reason. Timberlake has been calling off shows since October, the tour started in March in Toronto. The concert is scheduled to end in April 2019 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Timberlake’s current tour has seen under whelming concert sales, and a source said in some cities the tour has lost money. The singer’s show on January 12, 2019 in Memphis Tennessee, Justin’s home city and state still has 3000 seats available.
His dates in February, March all over 3000 tickets still in available. The singer once sold out shows shortly after his tour dates were announced. Timberlake has been forced to drop the prices of his tickets from $95.00 t0 $50.00, but still many seats remain unsold. His claims of ‘bruised vocal cords’ for recent canceled shows, is his ‘way of saving face’, said a source that is currently traveling with Timberlake. The singer told his fans, “Hey guys I’m sure you have heard I’ve head to postpone several tour dates due to my bruised vocal cords’, the singer wrote.
He continued, “My vocal cords are healing but they are not all the way back to normal. My doctor wants me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month. I’m really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I’m doing all I can to get there quickly. Thank you for understanding. I see all of your posts, and I appreciate the love and support. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever. More to come on rescheduled dates.” Concert consultant, Bill Concord said”It’s unusual for an artist to have that many canceled dates because of vocal cord issues.”
