Kanye West Apologizes To Cast Of ‘Cher Show’ On Broadway’ For Being On Phone During Play

Rapper Kanye West was called out for rude behavior during the opening night of the highly anticipated play, ‘Cher Show’. West attended opening night with his wife Kim Kardashian West. One member of the cast called West out. The actor Jarrod Spector who plays the late Sonny Bono tweeted, “Hey @KanyeWest so cool that you’re here at the Cher Show, If you look up from your cell phone, you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night, kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.”

West who has been engaged in a tug of war with his own social media by deleting accounts and then reactivating accounts, got the message. West tweeted, “The dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim and I grab each others hand and sing ‘I got you babe’. Please pardon me for my lack of etiquette. We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this masterpiece.” Kim is a huge Cher fan, she has dressed as the iconic singer several times on Halloween.

According to people who were in the audience, West was on his phone for the majority of the show, not just testing but talking on his phone. As Kim arrived for the show she said of Cher, “I’ve always loved her attitude and how strong she is. She’s been really cool, and someone that I’ve always looked up to. I’m so excited to be here tonight.”
