Kanye West Turns In A Strange Performance On Season 44 Premiere of ‘Saturday Night Live’

Rapper Kanye West didn’t disappoint his legion of fans who were expecting West to do something odd on the show. The show had it’s season 44 premiere on Saturday. West performed as a giant Perrier Bottle along side rapper Lil Pump who was dressed as a Fiji bottle as they performed the song, ‘I Love It’. West was dressed more ‘regular’ in a second song he sang. During the end of the show and over the show credits, West wore a red ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, that is associated with Donald Trump.

West has turned in some memorable performances in the past on ‘SNL’. In a 2010 performance he appeared with Pusha T for a performance of the song ‘Runaway’. The two appeared in a brightly lit white room, while they were dressed in bright red, with several ballerinas dancing around them. West has a new album that is expected to drop on Saturday titled ‘Yhandi’. West informed his fans via Twitter that he will officially be known as ‘Ye’ as a professional name.

‘SNL’ didn’t let the past week of highly charged political maneuvers get by them for their season opener. Matt Damon appeared as embattled Supreme Court Nominee Brent Kavanaugh. Damon playing the Judge said “I wrote my statement last night while screaming into an empty bag of Doritos’ The skit went on, “I’m usually an optimist, “I’m a keg half full kind of guy, but what I’ve seen from the monsters on this committee makes me want to puke and not from the beer.” The skit continued with Damon’s Judge character taking drinks from glasses of water, and either screaming or crying. He said his accuser Dr. Ford, has no real evidence, but he ‘Has these beautiful creepy calenders.”
