Katy Perry’s Instagram Snippets Of Her Latest Music Leaves Fans On The Edge Of Their Seats

It seems that the long wait will soon be over for Katy Perry fans all over the world. Just a few snippets on her Instagram account are more than enough to cause an online frenzy.

Three years have passed since the 32-year old singer released her massively popular singles Dark Horse and Roar. This is quite a long time, especially for music fans that seem to be always on the lookout for new releases from their idols. That is why when Perry teased about the release of her career’s next era, the public couldn’t help but to be on an uproar, in a good way.

Appearance in a series of Instagram stories that her fans saved, you can see Katy as she rocks a tooth painted black, with the caption saying that she drew on her tooth using a sharpie for pure fun but now, it refuses to come off.

Yet, any keen observer will see that the ploy was just a way to distract the audience from the background where you will hear a new track being played with lyrics saying “Don’t be scared to…” before it cuts off, rather annoyingly.

What shouldn’t you be scared of? Of dying? Of crying? Or drawing your tooth using a sharpie then posting everything on Instagram? Seriously, Katy really did a great job of leaving her fans hanging on that cut off lyrics.

If it is not enough, Perry also uploaded another video with the caption stating “OMG Instruments.” The second video was remarkably less brief yet it will still leave you scratching your head in too much frustration.

While it these were not a lot for anyone to go off, the first teaser seemed to have some touch of Michael Jackson to it, and from this, you know it would be super.

Then, there is always the chance that the snippets were nothing but pieces of experiment left behind on a cutting room floor. Yet, is there is chance that Katy will tease her fans like this using throwaways? Well, everyone hopes not.

It seems that the newest album of the singer will arrive sometime next year as she earlier released the bridging single entitled Rise for the Rio Olympics and tweeting how “2017 is gonna tight AF” last October.

As Perry’s contemporaries like Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Beyonce have taken some notable deviations with their newest music, it will be very interesting to see if she will also take on the same U-turn.

The famous singer behind hits like The One That Got Away and Hot N Cold has showcased her prolific side for her 8-year career since she released the cult song I Kissed A Girl back in 2008. After dozens of successful singles and an appearance in the halftime show of SuperBowl XLIX later, Katy Perry has easily established herself an immovable part of the pop culture industry with almost 71 million Facebook, 60 million Instagram and 95 million Twitter followers who track her every action and movement.
