Lisa Marie Presley Goes Back To Rehab As She Continues To Fight For Custody Of Twins

The only child of the late iconic singer Elvis Presley has entered rehab for the 10th time to battle a series drug addiction. The 50 year old sometimes singer, has been steadily declining according to friends of the mother of four. Presley is in a heated battle with her estranged forth husband Michael Lockwood. According to a friend of Lisa, “she knows her documented history as a drug addict has left her extremely vulnerable in court, and she’s praying this current rehab will help her case.”

Others are very concerned about Presley whose father Elvis died of a drug overdose at 42 in 1977. A friend who wished to remain annoyances, said, “Lisa has a predisposition to be an addict, her father, and several relatives have battled drugs and alcohol.” According to the friends, ‘Lisa has been invited to several celebrity studded holiday parties in tinsel town. She has turned down every invitation so that she can focus on getting and staying sober. Presley has been married to Lockwood since 2006 and separated in 2016.

Their ten year old twin daughters Harper and Finley have been ordered by a judge to be evaluated for mental health issues. There are continued back and forth allegations of abuse of the children by Lisa and Lockwood. Judge Thomas Trent Lewis ordered a custody evaluation of the girls, in order for him to determine custody and visitation of the girls. Presley admitted in court filings that the last year of her marriage to Lockwood, she was ‘abusing cocaine daily.’ In another recent revelation, Presley had accused her business manager of stealing her entire 100 million inheritance from her, that proved to be a false allegation. Priscilla Presley has engaged in ‘tough love’ with her daughter, by not talking to her until she is clean and sober. The next court date for the dueling ex couple is January 14, 2019.
