Mark Salling’s Former Girlfriend Suing His Estate For $2.7 Million

The former girlfriend of the late actor Mark Sailling is suing his estate for $2.7 million dollars. Roxanne Gorzela filed legal papers in Los Angeles superior court on Thursday. Gorzela says that she has a judgment against the actor, and wants to be listed as one of his creditors. The former ‘Glee’ actor committed suicide in January at the age of 35. Gorzela does have a valid judgment that was awarded to her on March 23, 2015. The judgment is a result of a civil action brought forward by Gozela against Salling.

In 2011 Gorzela accused Salling of forcing her to have unprotected sex with him, charges he denied at the time. In 2013 the former model filed the lawsuit against Salling, charging him with assault, sexual battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional harm. Gorzela claimed that she wanted to Salling to take an STD test, and when she confronted the actor, he became violent. Gorzela says Salling pushed her, which caused a concussion. Although Salling strenuously denied all the claims made by his former girlfriend, a judge sided with her and awarded her the judgment.

Gorzela says that Salling never paid a cent of the judgment, and now that his estate is being settled she wants her judgment paid. Salling was set to begin serving a prison sentence for possession of child pornography when he took his life in January. Part of the actor’s plea deal involved paying each of his victims 50 K. All the victims will have to file lawsuits in civil court to try to recover that money from Salling’s estate. An autopsy revealed that Salling died of asphyxia by hanging. His body was found very close to his home in Sunland, CA. a suburb of Los Angeles. Salling never married and had no children, the heirs to his estate are his parents, John and Condy Salling of Dallas, Texas.
