Meghan Markle’s Estranged Father Thomas Markle Gives Another Interview For Cash

Former ‘Suits’ actress Meghan Markle can’t get her estranged family members from talking to the media for money. It’s been a constant issue since she announced her engagement to Prince Harry. Thomas Markle a former TV lighting professional spoke to the British ‘Daily Mail’ on Sunday. He said that he didn’t know that his daughter Meghan was pregnant until he heard it on the news. Markle said he was actually sitting in his car at the California Mexico boarder when he heard the news on the radio.

He said, “I thought my baby was having a baby. I was a very proud moment. I was filled with love, joy and happiness, for both my beautiful daughter and my son-in-law. A new baby is a blessing and I look forward to seeing a little Meghan or a little Harry.” There were reports earlier that Meghan told her father that she was pregnant before the announcement was made publicly. However a palace source said Thomas Markle was not told the news prior to the announcement being made. A friend of Markle said, “Every time her father talks to the media, it makes it more unlikely that she will ever have a relationship with her dad.”

The friend added, “he has only himself to blame for the estrangement.” Kensington Palace made the announcement on Monday, and added a line from Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, saying “She is excited about the news and looking forward to meeting her first grandchild.” Meghan has not spoken to her father since May 20th the day after she married Prince Harry. He was supposed to walk her down the aisle. Prior to the big day, Markle was caught up in a photo scandal, when it was revealed that Markle was paid money by a tabloid photographer for staged photos of him trying on suits for the wedding. Markle said in the Sunday interview that he has not met his son-in-law Prince Harry.
