Mel B Wages War Against Her Former Nanny As Her Heated Divorce Drama Rages On

Former Spice Girl Mel B tried to access a storage space in Hollywood today, but it didn’t go as planned. When B tried to get into her unit, the manager of the storage center refused to allow B in, so the one time ‘Scary Spice’ called the police. Mel B, a professional nick name for Melanie Brown is in the middle of a contentious divorce from her husband of ten years Stephen Belafonte. Brown said in court papers that her former nanny Lorraine Gilles was having an affair with her husband, and that is what led Brown to file for divorce.

The court granted Brown a restraining order against Gilles today. Brown is alleging that the storage unit which is in Gilles’ name, contains pictures of Brown’s late father. It also has Spice Girl memorabilia, and sex tapes that Brown is in, and pictures of Belafonte and Brown in better times.  The restraining order states that Gilles must stay 100 yards away from Brown at all times. The court further ordered Gilles to not remove any contents from the storage unit. Witnesses who were at the storage facility said that Brown eventually was allowed to go into the unit, but she did not remove any contents.

Brown also claims that Belafonte made Gilles pregnant but the former nanny had an abortion. Brown has also been issued a restraining order against Belafonte several months ago. Belafonte and Brown have 3 daughters together. Brown only legally filed for divorce from Belafonte in March of 2017, however they have been separated for over a year. Belanfonte is Brown’s second husband, she also has a daughter with comic Eddie Murphy who she dated in 2006. Brown, Belafonte and Gilles must make a court appearance in May 2017.
