Mike ‘Situation’ Sorrentino’s Prison Release Date Announced By Prison Officials

‘Jersey Shore’s’ Mike Sorrentino checked in to a federal prison earlier this week to start his 8 month prison sentence for fraud. The Bureau Of Federal Prisons announced that Mike would be released on Friday September 13th 2019. Looks like Friday the 13th, may be Mike’s new lucky number. He will serve his full 8 months if that is the day he’s actually released. Sorrentino is being housed at FCI Ottisville Federal Penitentiary in upstate New York. The prison is a medium security prison that currently has 825 prisoners, who have all committed federal crimes.

Mike traveled to the prison on Tuesday in a dark colored SUV, with his new wife Lauren at his side. Mike married Lauren in November with all of his ‘Jersey Shore’ cast mates in attendance. Lauren raveled on Friday, that her husband has received over a 1000 letters of support. She issued a statement,” Mike would like to thank all of his fans around the world for unbelievable outpouring of love and support from all of you. We speak everyday and he’s doing great. It is truly heartwarming to have all of this support at this time.”

The brothers are not at the same prison, Marc is at Fairton Federal Penitentiary in Fairton, New Jersey. Marc’s prison is not as ‘cushy’ as Ottisville, and Marc has been saying he thinks his sentence is unfair. Mike reported that his first night at the prison he had steak for dinner, and there are swimming pools, basketball courts, and all types of classes to take including yoga and ceramics. An inmate was serving a 77 month sentence for entering the US illegally was recently killed at Fairton.
