Miley Cyrus Celebrates 26th Birthday With Friends & Family After Losing Home

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus celebrated her 26th birthday with her friends and family in California. The singer and her fiance actor Liam Hemsworth lost the home they shared in Malibu to the recent wildfires that caused record damage and deaths. The singer’s brother Truce Cyrus was in attendance as their father Billy Ray Cyrus presented his daughter with a turquoise birthday cake. Trish Cyrus, Miley’s mother and her younger sister Noah Cyrus were all on hand to sing happy birthday to the singer.

Billy Ray took to his social media to send a message to his fans, during the celebration. He wrote, “Thankful for this moment. My thoughts and prayers are with so many hearts that need mended. Peace to all.” Miley’s mother wrote, “Happy Birthday, this is definitely going to be your best year yet. Love you so much, happy 26th.” Noah, who is also a singer had a message for her big sister, she said,”Happy Birthday lil girl, I love you endless.” Hemsworth said, “Happy birthday to my sweet girl, you’re more precious than ever. So thankful to have you in my life.” Only a week ago there was a much sadder tone for the Australian actor.

He send out a picture of his and Miley’s destroyed Malibu mansion. He said, “It’s been a heartbreaking few days, this is what’s left of my home. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California lost their homes, and my heart goes out to everyone affected by these fires.” He went on to talk about what he and others in the community were doing to help with recovery and rebuilding. He said, “I spent the day in Malibu yesterday and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they could. Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger.”
