Supermodel Bella Hadid has been fighting back against incessant rumors that she’s had plastic surgery. She has a multi-million dollar contract as the new face of ‘Dior Beauty’, has critics accusing her of having plastic surgery. The 21 year old model opened up to ‘Instyle Magazine’ to address those constant rumors. She says that the rumors ‘are crazy,’ Hadid says “I’m still very young, and I don’t need plastic surgery.” One specific rumor that keeps resurfacing is that Bella has lip injections on a regular basis to attain a fuller look.
Hadid told the magazine that even though she’s a supermodel that has graced the cover of thousands of magazine covers, she’s still very insecure. Hadid the daughter of former supermodel Yolanda Foster, said, “People think I got all this plastic surgery or did this or did that. You know what, we can do a scan of my face, darling. I’m scared of my putting fillers into my lips. I wouldn’t want to mess up my face.” She revealed that she’s not pretty comfortable in her own skin but it took work to get to that point the model said. Bella said, “People think I’m very confident, but I really had to learn how to be.”
Another disclosure the model made is that growing up in Malibu, where many people are super rich and famous and beautiful can be very intimidating, she said. Bella said in school she had big hips ‘and was kind of chubby.’ She felt she didn’t look like everyone else, “I was constantly bullied for my weird face, or so I was told”. Hadid said that she is still dealing with a lot of online bullies; She added, “It’s taken me a long time to learn how not to listen to all the negativity.” She said she feels sad for the strangers that throw hate her way, “obviously there is something deeper going on with them.”
