Singer Pink is battling the flu for a second time this season. The singer is in the middle of her sold out, “Beautiful Trauma’ tour. She notified her fans via ‘Twitter’ that she is canceling her Detroit show scheduled for Sunday March 25th. The singer said, “I’m not going to be well enough to do the show in Detroit tomorrow night. I want to give you all the full show, and not be hacking all the way through it, and have to cut songs because of my voice.”
Pink told her fans that she has been consulting with a doctor regarding her struggles with the flu. Pink sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in February. Her performance was almost can celled due to the flu. She was able to power through the song, and delivered a powerful rendition of the song. This time crew members of the singer are saying her symptoms are much worse now then they were in February. Pink is married to motor cross racer Cary Hart, the couple have two young children. Pink also advised her fans that she was trying very hard to not have to cancel her Detroit show.
She said, “I understand how much trouble you go to to be at my shows, what it entails, the planning the schedules, etc. I am very sorry, and I’m very grateful for your understanding. I will absolutely do this show at a later date, and it will be the full show. Again, I’m very sorry and have tried so damn hard to avoid this. All my love.” The singer’s tour started on March 1st, her next scheduled concert date is Tuesday March 27th in Louisville, Kentucky. Pink’s team said the crew are now in route to KY and it ‘will be a wait and see’ to see if Pink is well to perform on Tuesday.
