Quentin Tarantino Marries Israeli Singer Danielle Pick

Director Quentin Tarantino once a ‘confirmed bachelor’ married his finance Danielle Pick. This was the first marriage for Tarantino,55. Pick is a well known singer and model in Israel. The wedding took place in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The bride wore a traditional white gown and the director a well fitted black suit. The ceremony and wedding were reported to be very small, the couple plan to have a large gathering Thursday evening in LA. The bride is 20 years younger than Tarantino, she is the daughter of Israeli singer and songwriter Tzvika Pick.

The couple met in Israel in 2009 when the director was there to promote his Brad Pitt flick ‘Inglorious Basterds’. The couple kept in contact but did not formally start dating until 2016, they became engaged in 2017. The couple had a huge engagement party in September of 2017 in New York, which reunited several cast members of ‘Pulp Fiction’. John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Samuel Jackson and Uma Thurman were on hand to wish the couple well. Early this week Tarantino finished another film with Brad Pitt, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie also star in the film.

The film chronicles the summer of the infamous Charles Manson murders of August 1969. Robbie plays actress Sharon Tate who was murdered by Manson family members on August 9th 1969, she was nine months pregnant, her husband director Roman Polanski was out of the country. The movie has been highly anticipated and is scheduled to be released in July of 2019. Tarantino has said that the reason he never married is because his movie career has taken up so much of his time, that marriage ‘wouldn’t be fair’. Tarentino says he plans to retire from the film industry by the time he’s 60, ‘because of the direction the film industry is going in.’
