Star of ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ Luann de Lesseps is in the middle of an ongoing family court battle. Luann’s ex husband, Alexandre de Lesseps, and their children Noel and Victoria have filed a lawsuit against the reality TV star. The issue according to the legal documents claims that Luann did not follow through on a court awarded judgment regarding a home sale. The home in question was sold for 8 million dollars, Luann was ordered to set up a trust for her children. The lawsuit claims that she failed to do that.
Luann married Count Alexandre de Lesseps in 1993 making her a ‘Countess’, which she is often called. The couple divorced in 2009 after de Lesseps was accused of having an affair with Ethiopian Princess. The lawsuit filed says that Luann failed to set up a trust for her children as ordered by the court. Instead the suit suggests that Luann has taken the proceeds from the sale to buy herself a mansion in upstate New York. The home in question where the former couple lived is located in Bridgehampton, New York.
Luann’s daughter Victoria now 23 was arrested in April of 2017 for DUI, she was ordered to pay a fine and do community service. Luann was arrested for striking a police office officer and public intoxication, in Palm Beach, FL on Christmas Eve, 2017. The reality TV star is said to be estranged from her two adult children. They are telling friends their mother is selfish and only cares about herself. She used the proceeds from family to buy a 3 million dollar home in Sag Harbor, NY home. The children are claiming, ‘she completely disregarded the court order to set up a trust for them. The suit is trying to forbid de Lesseps from selling the home.
