Sandra Bullock Loses Dad & 2 Dogs Within A Few Weeks

Bullock appeared on the ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Thursday, and said that ‘you can’t schedule life.’ Bullock’s father John Bullock,93, died in September. Her three legged dog Poppy and two legged dog Ruby died in October. She told Ellen, “Life, I realized just happens whether you schedule it or not, it just blew my mind this year.” Bullock recalled when her dad John was failing, she got a call from a nanny from her home that was watching her dogs.

The nanny told the actress that Ruby who had two legs had a stroke and he was beyond help because he was suffering. She tried to get her dad settled as best she could and got a flight home. Bullock said, “At first I thought I’m going to be fine. A week later I’m in the bathroom crying.”
