Scott Baio Confirms Wife Renee Baio Has Microvascular Brain Disease

The hits keep coming towards actor Scott Baio, his wife Renee has microvascular brain disease. Baio is still trying to defend himself against charges that he sexually molested his ‘Charles In Charge’ co-star Nicole Eggert in the 90’s. A fan on Twitter asked, Renee how her health was, and she responded, “besides having two meningioma brain tumors in October 2017, I also learned I have Microvascular brain disease.” The former Renee Sloan, was a former Playboy Playmate, Baio met her at the Playboy Mansion in the 90’s. They reconnected in 2001, and married in 2007 shortly after the birth of their daughter Bailey Baio,10.

The former ‘Happy Days’ star retweeted his wife’s tweet and added, “Unfortunately this is true, Renee is forever my rock, my life and my soul mate.” This disease is most common in older adults, after the age of 60 to 90. It’s a disease that changes the small blood vessels in the brain. It most commonly causes strokes, dementia or Alzheimer’s, and severe problems with walking and balance. It’s very rare for a person to start developing this disease before the age of 60, Renee is 45. Renee has been plagued with medical problems in the last four years. Renee had been having severe migraine headaches in 2014. An MRI revealed that Renee had two menigioma brain tumors, that were removed.

She also showed signs of early breast cancer, and had to have three lumpectomies. Baio has been dealing with resurfaced sexual misconduct allegations by actress Nicole Eggert. The actor has gone on the defensive, making posts on Facebook to deny her allegations, and appearing on ‘Good Morning America. Eggert stands by her allegations, and has enlisted high profile attorney to Lisa Bloom to represent her. Actor Alexander Polinsky who was also on ‘Charles In Charge’, says Baio bullied him on the set, and called him homophobic names, and pulled his pants down in front of the show’s crew members.
