Selena Gomez Speaks Publicly About Her Break Up With The Weeknd & New Bieber Romance

Actress and singer Selena Gomez is speaking publicly for the first time about her amicable breakup with singer The Weeknd. The Texas native just snagged the prestigious tile of ‘Billboards Woman of the Year for 2017.’ She gave a lengthy interview to the magazine in honor of her Billboard award. She will be the featured cover story for the December 9th edition. She spoke candidly about her recent break up with her former boyfriend Canadian singer The Weekend, and reuniting with her former on again off again boyfriend, another Canadian, Justin Bieber,23.

Gomez said, “Something that I’m really proud of is that there is such a true friendship. She was speaking about her relationship with The Weeknd,27. The former couple ended their 10 month relationship in October. Gomez said, “I truly never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring for each other, and that was pretty remarkable to me.” She frankly discussed the reemergence of Bieber in her life again after a very rocky relationship with him.

She said,” I’m 25, I’m not 18, or 19 or 20 she said of her decision to start dating the singer again. She went on, “I cherish people who have really impacted my life, and Justin has. So maybe before it could have been forcing something that isn’t right, but that doesn’t mean caring for someone ever goes away.”She also discussed her past friendships with some of her famous friends like, Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus. She said of those friends,”we have all gone through sessions in life, it’s nice to see where everyone is now.” She said “ I think a true representation of love is beyond yourself. The littlest things have impact.”
