Spice Girls Confirm A Reunion Is In The Works

The five original ‘Spice Girls’ confirmed they will be reuniting soon. The women were seen arriving at ‘Spice Girl’ Geri Halliwell’s London home. Emma Burton was seen leaving Halliwell’s house after the women attended an ‘informal business meeting.’ Multiple news sources are reporting on the Friday morning meeting. The group did confirm through a publicist that they got together to discuss ‘future group projects.’ Two years after the women formed their group in 1996, they released their first album,’Wannabe’. They became an international success, filling huge stadiums around the world.

The group dominated the music world, and appeared in the film ‘Spiceworld’. Between the film, albums, dolls,touring, and merchandise, the women grossed more than a 100 million dollars a year, over 20 years ago. They were unstoppable until the band split up in 2000, leaving their fans bewildered.
The women were able to get together twice professionally since their split, in 2007 for a reunion tour, and in 2012 to sing at the London Olympics. Although not a five-some, the women went onto to pursue individual endeavors. Victoria known as ‘Posh Spice’ married professional soccer player David Beckham and created a very successful clothing line.

The Beckham’s have 4 children, David has just bought a professional soccer team in Miami, Florida. Geri Halliwell was the first to leave the band in 1998. She launched a successful solo career, and is the author of a few children’s books. She’s been married twice, had a daughter with her first husband and a son with her present husband Christina Horner, a professional race car driver. Mel C, known as ‘Sporty Spice’ also launched a solo career. She has gone on to have a successful career as a stage actress, and a host of the Australian version of ‘X Factor’. Mel B, ‘Scary Spice’ has three daughters and is going through a very well publicized divorce.
