‘Stargate’ Actor Jason Momoa Marries ‘Cosby Show’ Actress Lisa Bonet

Many speculated that actor Jason Momoa,38, and ‘Cosby Show’ actress Lisa Bonet,49, married in 2007. According to an official statement released Thursday, the couple legally wed in October of 2017. Bonet was married to rocker Lenny Kravitz at the age of 20 in 1988 and divorced in 1993. The former couple are the parents of actress Zoe Kravitz,28. Kravitz said that he and Bonet get along famously, and are the best of friends. Momoa and Bonet have been together since early 2005. They have two children together, a daughter Lola,10, and son Nakoa,8.

According to the official statement the couple got a Los Angeles County Marriage license on October 3rd and married two weeks later at their Topanga Canyon, CA home. Bonet’s daughter Zoe served as the maid of honor. Friends of the groom in attendance were Alicia Vikander, Micheal Fassbender, and famed rock climber Chris Sharma. A source told ‘Us Magazine, that Momoa is ‘a good guy’ that stays very close to his former co-stars. Many of the wedding guests attended the wedding from far away. The couple had several mutual friends who were eager to fix up these two people.

Momoa said he had a crush on his now wife since he was a child and saw her on the ‘Cosby Show’. Momoa said he was afraid of how that revelation would come across. Because of that, he told Bonet about the crush only after their second child was born. He told Katie Couric in 2014, that as soon as he was introduced to Bonet by a mutual friend, he said “I want her, I have to have her, and I will get her.” Momoa was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is proficient in several disciplines of martial arts which he learned for his role as Ronon in ‘Stargate Atlantis’.
